Can we get a dog park?!?!

A bunch of nice, newly renovated parks, but NO dog parks! Would it be too much to get a dog park down here? It takes 40 minutes to go up to white plains' dog park!

What is the fascination with dog parks and why do we need one?

My dog does that 2x a day. I guess it depends on where you live.

Dog Park

Pixie. If you turn on Billingsly Rd (sp??), follow to 2nd stop sign. Mk a right on St. Charles Pkwy, and about 1/4 mile down on the left, you'll find a park---go all the way to the back, before the Tennis courts, and you'll see signs leading you to dog park.

OOPS, actually make a left on St. Charles Pkwy---sorry!!

That park back there with the football fields and such? Damn! Grew up not 5 miles from there and never knew there was a dog park there. Not too far from home either!

:yeahthat: I don't think I would've gotten a dog if I didn't have the room for it to run around and play. We don't need a friggin dog park.

Rescued them.. and so what, what the hell does a dog park bother you for?
I don't think we need one. And I don't want my tax dollars building one because you rescued a dog without any thought to his exercise needs.

I have to agree even though I don't even live in the county. When I moved to VA I went from having a yard to having none. Was I suppose to get rid of my dogs. I have over a half acre now and will still take my pup to the park to socialize with other dogs.
