Canon Rebel XTi SLR

Wow, this thread went further than I thought it would.

Anyway, we got the camera kit, a memory card, the XTi bag that comes with an extra battery and the UV filter lense. Hubby already has a tripod, so I didn't get one of those. I've taken so many pictures tonight it's crazy.

I haven't had time to figure out all the buttons and features, but I know that I LOVE LOVE LOVE the close-up feature. It rocks!!!

I can't wait to get a zoom lense for it too.

I have about $2000 worth of Nikon equipment in my camera bag that hasn't been used in a LONG time.. but I also understand that all of my Nikon gear, lenses, Cokin Filters. teleconverter. flash, are compatible with tne new digitals.. True or False? Pros cons??

Granted this equipment is almost 30 years old, but it all is in VERY good shape..

Depending on which exact model you look at, most will work to a point. The biggest difference is your lens might fit and work, but not the auto focus.

I am so very blessed
What are the differences (besides price) between the Nikon 10.2 MP D40x and the 10.2 MP D80?

I've enjoyed reading through these threads...I am really wanting to upgrade my camera. I love Canon products so I would love to get the Rebel XTi. Right now I have the Powershot S500 ELPH.

I only take pics of my three kids normally...But I just can't get the shots that I want anymore with my current camera.

:howdy:
