We can keep this place in mind for a future forum get-together.If I see a red slingshot I will buy you a beer.
If its been eating the leftover mash at a still site.about 2-3 hours as the crow flies?
And they have hook ups!I used to make that drive to Dennis Point all the time - the food was bad or good depending on which restaurant it was at the time, but the bar and outside deck was always a winner.
It is my hope that Capt. Pat's will turn it into a destination. It's one of those places I root for and want to see succeed.
And isn't that the whole idea of getting together???And they have hook ups!
Pat has taken over the restaurant and bar at Dennis Point Marina. Hoping to open 1 April.
If Pat can't make that spot go..nobody can. I'm all in for a Sunday brunch place...and he said he's going to be doing that too.
He had Pat's Seafood in Lex Park and was there for years and years. Are you thinking of Rick of cheesesteak fame? Not to be snarky, but why would Pat succeed if this is a cursed location, especially considering he has had several restaurant failures in recent years (or am I confused)?
You must have Pat Wathen confused with someone else. Not to be snarky, but why would Pat succeed if this is a cursed location, especially considering he has had several restaurant failures in recent years (or am I confused)?
His place burned down. That's not his failure. Not to be snarky, but why would Pat succeed if this is a cursed location, especially considering he has had several restaurant failures in recent years (or am I confused)?

I'm hoping Pat can exorcise that bad juju for Dennis Point.
With Tall Timbers closed, we're sorely missing a good local waterfront Sunday brunch place too.
Is Tall Timbers closed permanently now?
