I've had Nextel for about 5 yrs now and I have no issues with them I don't have any problems getting a signal either. Well, unless it's around Pt lookout, but nobody gets a signal down there.

Nextel is spotty for me, can't get a signal in my house in PF, have to walk outside. Saturday I was playing golf at Wicomico Shores and couldn't get a signal there all day.

I have verizon and nextel... both are worthless in my work building, my Nextel had better service in Ridge, my verizon has better service at my house in northern Hollywood... my nextel had better service at the mall Saturday morning in Waldorf...


Its hit or miss with them, where one excels, the other isn't as good or vise versus....


All I know is ALL phone plans are friggin over priced...

I've had Verizon for over a year, with an LG 4500, and never have had a problem.

Stick with Verizon, I have been with Cingular and next-to-hell and they both are HORRIBLE in somd. Verizon has service EVERYWHERE, LOVE IT!!

I have had Cingular since they were Cellular One and it wasn't until this year that I was getting a large amount of drop calls and disconnects.

I thought it was just the Motorola V220 I had since Sept 04 but now I am pretty sure it's both the phone and the area. I am going to switch to Verizon in September.
