 the poor child. My son will be two next month. How can anyone do that to a helpless child. God reserves a special place in hell for people like that.

It is a wonder the rest of the kids were not physically harmed. :huggy: to the family who is having to deal with the loss of a child.

I think I would be out on my own hunting this person down to see if they like blunt force to the head! :wench:

It's infuriating but I don't know what's worse, being a parent and making the choice to send your children to an UNLICENSED daycare "center" or that some parents have so few options that this is the choice they have to make.

What is the difference between a licensed and an unlicensed day care, other then the licensed having paid a fee to the state to run their daycare.. and in most cases being the much more expensive of the two?

There are NO guarantees when using either one.

And as far as having only the kids you can afford, well, I can honestly say I wouldn't have any if I waited for THAT day to come.

Don't blame the mother for choosing to send her children to an unlicensed daycare, apparently the person she hired wasn't the problem. Like I've said before, put the blame where the blame belongs.

Who hit the child?

Who killed the child?

Who is on the run?

There is nobody to blame but HIM, and he should be hunted and killed like the animal he is.

A Fairfax County woman who operated a day-care center in her basement apartment left four children with her husband Tuesday morning to run an errand.
Ahmad has a history of arrests for violent offenses that date to 2001, including assault and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
She shouldn't have left the kids with her husband while she ran errands. They were HER responsiblity.

My point being, that the state would not have refused her a license.

Licensed or unlicensed, doesn't matter.

I totally agree, especially when considering the husband's previous track record with the law. She should have known better. Unfortunately, a poor little baby died because of her stupidity at leaving the baby with the unstable husband. She needs to be charged, too, in the child's death.
