Chipotle - help me understand this

I agree; it's fresh, nothing is fried, and they make it just the way I like it. The line moves pretty fast, no matter how long it is. I don't do Taco Bell, KFC, McD's or any of those, and it's a nice change from subs. It's not someplace I'd go with the family for a dinner out, but it's great for taking to work (as someone else said, it heats up nicely). One burrito bol lasts 2 meals for me. Good stuff.

The only thing I understand about this post is that you may be high and have the munchies.

They're running an ad on Facebook that if you like their page, you get a free meal.

Just saw this on FB: Chipotle Mexican Grill

There’s no such thing as a free lunch – or burrito for that matter. The “repost, tag, and follow for FREE” offer that is floating around the interwebs is A HOAX. Not real. Not from Chipotle. -Joe

I agree with all of that

We made our own burrito bowls for dinner last night :)

Without the sour cream and the salsa, the food does not have much flavor. I eat it once in awhile but not a big fan. My son likes it for the fresh/healthy food they promote and eats there a lot.

Now I'm going to have to give them another chance. Will go have a burrito bowl some time in the next few days and report back.

Burrito Bowl is where it's at.

At first, I would get extra meat. They charge extra for it, but you can usually pull off not being charged if they are real busy. What they don't charge for is double rice. That cilantro/lime rice is amazing and I always get extra.

Great...now I'm going to have to go to Chipotle for lunch.

I get extra meat also and I get charged for it more so lately than before. I can get 2 or 3 meals out of 1 Chipotle meal, so paying $9 isn't bad for 2/3 meals. I find the steak to be more spicy than the chicken. I also found the steak to be more tasty than the chicken is usually. So people need to experiment with different types of meat to see which suits them the best. I need to get chicken more than steak (due to cholesterol) but then again I only eat from there maybe two times a month. (and usually I'm not the one paying either). I love their chips but can't eat any of their salsa's due to the onions in them.

While most people go with the chicken or steak I think the pork surpasses either of those in its tastiness.

Unremarkable.

I got the bowl with carnitas, black beans and shredded cheese, then sides of sour cream, guac, and hot salsa. Topped with shredded lettuce.

The meat was pretty good.

The beans had no flavor. Like, none.

The guac was yummy and I would go get a little tub of theirs instead of making my own from now on. Mine always goes gnarly before I can use it all.

The salsa was really vinegary. The heat was great but it tasted terrible.

I can think of no reason why I'd eat there again.

You need to stuff a burrito in that pretty mouth...

Thats the same way I feel. I only eat there when my son offers to go out and pick up dinner.

I skip the beans and rice. Chicken, medium salsa, corn, cheese, sour cream or guac, and extra cilantro. :yum:
