How to you expect all these Iraqis to get over here anyway? They're only attacking us because we're occupying their country. We leave, and that's the end of them attacking us.

Getting the hell out is better than being meat on the end of a stick, which is what our troops are now.

Hmm I guess you are that ignorant ..... to believe the violence will stop just because we leave ....... or will not come back here in the form of further al Qadia attacks ........

Sorry, I haven't had any suicidal tendencies for years now.

After the explosion that killed four U.S. soldiers on Saturday, the unit came under fire and another soldier was wounded. During this month's crackdown in the capital, the battalion had found eight weapons caches and two roadside bombs and helped rescue a kidnap victim, the military said.

An explosion in Diyala province northeast of Baghdad killed another soldier Saturday and injured five. A sixth soldier died Saturday in a non-combat related incident, the military said. A U.S. Marine also was killed Saturday in fighting in Anbar, according to a separate statement.

Saturday's deaths brought to at least 3,217 members of the U.S. military who have died since the Iraq war started in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count.
If you're scared just say you're scared..

That was seriously the most STUPID thing I have ever read on this forum. That statement would have been funny if you didn't actually believe everyword of it! Ughh!!!

When over half the people you are trying to protect thinks it's okay to kill you, it's time to leave. Just keep your brain in a box and let Bush make your decisions for you, if that's what works for you.

The survey's results are deeply distressing from an American perspective as well: The number of Iraqis who call it "acceptable" to attack U.S. and coalition forces, 17 percent in early 2004, has tripled to 51 percent now, led by near unanimity among Sunni Arabs. And 78 percent of Iraqis now oppose the presence of U.S. forces on their soil, though far fewer favor an immediate pullout.

These stories wouldn't fit in the last post, so I'll continue them here...

Dinwaniya: Clashes erupted between insurgents and police when they attacked a police station in the town of Dhuluiya.
Five insurgents were killed, including Syrian and Saudi fighters, Interior Ministry spokeaman Abdul-Kareem Khalaf told Reuters.
A police officer was killed and another wounded.
Police found the bodies of three people, shot dead, on Wednesday in the town of Dhuluiya, 80 km (60 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.
Balad:
U.S. forces targeting al-Qaeda militants in Iraq killed two insurgents and detained 11 others during a raid east the town of Balad.
Mosul:
A car bomb killed two people and wounded 11 others in the city of Mosul, 390 km north of Baghdad.
A car bomb targeting a police patrol wounded a policeman in the northern city of Mosul, police said.
Well Forestal... I guess you've proved your point. Nothing but bad has happened in Iraq. No good is happening. You win.

And there's a good point that you just glazed right over Forest. The American people elected Bush as president. You may not have voted for him but America did. This means Americans gave him the authority to finish this war. He's the "decider". That's what presidents do, make decisions like this. And this is what Americans do; vote them into that position of power.

Now you have your congress in their; all hot air and no plan. They could easily end this whole thing by cutting the funding. Instead they are proposing more money to the effort. Did you get that Forest... your liberal friends in Congress could end this NOW. You need to ask them why they don't. Stop all the talk about how bad things are and get our troops out of there. Otherwise your just a bunch of wind; dead air.

You guys are morons with visions of NASCAR dancing on your heads again obviously. As much as you want it to happen, The US Military is NOT going to turn the Middle East into a Parking Lot or a Glass Bowl or whatever it is you decide to call it. At least be realistic and quit fellating each other with scenarios which will NEVER happen.

Idiots. You are about as intelligent as those "Like A Rock" Chevy truck commercials. Which i am sure bring a tear to your eye.

No wonder Black People hate White People. Its because of idiots like Psyops, VraiBlonde, 2nd Amendment, and AndyMarquis, who perpetuate the stereotype of the uneducated Southern Redneck Cracker who believes that "A good (insert ethnic slur here) is a dead (ethnic racial slur here)".

Make it a bowl. HA!! Dumbest thing I have heard all month, you so-called "Christian". Nice Jesus-focused love you have for your fellow man, you hypocrite!

Actually Al Gore won the first time around. The defects in the Florida voting methods meant that thousands of votes were not counted. THe New York Times posted the results of counting the chads, all different ways, a few weeks after 9/11. They buried it deep in the paper because they didn't want make the president look illegitimate during a time of crisis.

There was also some critical irregularities in Ohio the second time around too. Enough to lend doubt about who should be sitting in the White House.

Sorry. You'll have to show your work - every account I've seen looks like this one:

http://www.pbs.org/newshour/media/media_watch/jan-june01/recount_4-3.html

And no amount of made up votes would have changed Ohio in 2004, aside from the hypocrisy of those claiming that the candidate with the most votes should be President - and Bush clearly had that in 2004.

Proof please.. Last I heard they did three recounts in Fl and all three Bush won.. EVEN after GORE insisted that the absentee ballots that were sent in by military members serving abroad NOT be counted. Yanno, those people that are sacrificing daily, willing living away from home, he didn't want their votes to count.

I saw some liberal wag on O'Reilly last night. he kept asking the same thing..
"You say it's documented, give me the documents, I'll put them on the air!" All she could do is try to yell over him to get her message across but could not provide ANY proof of anything she said, just the rhetoric she's been fed.

Some left wing leberal newspaper in london reports 620,000 Iraqui's have died in the last 4 years, and other than the newspaper article she could provide no proof. O'Reilly had the report that the Red Cross compiled that said 50,000 Iraqui's have died since the beginning of hostilities. Yep, that's truth and unbiased journalism there.

Bush is a war criminal, it's an illegal war. According to the statutes set in Nuremburg he meets all the criteria of being a war criminal :lalala: Provide proof please.. "Bush is a war criminal.. etc. etc.. Like repeating it enough times will make it true, no proof, nothing in writing, no evidence, just rhetoric.

There's a similar one - and perhaps the one you're referring to - that from polling data purports a substantial increase of "excess deaths" - which has been released before each of the last two elections, but which statistically cannot be corroborated by anything resembling logic or reality.

Well if the Jews had followed God's instructions to wipe out every man, woman, and child and not to make peace with the inhabitants of the land when they took the promised land, they would not have the problem they have now.

I don't claim to be perfect; just saved.
