Clipper was born in NH. The breeder there owned his mother. His father's owner who lives in Damascus was guaranteed pick of the litter (the Clipster) so she took him. I then co-owned him with her for 3 years while she showed him. I think she has a website but I can't remember what it is! I'll try to find it though. Regardless, both breeders have been fantastic and I've kept in touch with both although I know the one in Damascus much better (that's who I had mentioned in the earlier post). One thing though- both breeders are VERY strict about their raw foods policy. They will ONLY let their dogs go to homes that will continue to feed raw only and believe me they both check up on the owners! Just an FYI cause I wasn't sure if your friend was interested in doing that at all.Christy said:You got a phone number or web address for these folks? Where are they located?
And to clarify to everyone AGAIN. It is not for me, I am not buying a dog, just helping out a friend. TIA

It's not my policy- I'm not a breeder- it's theirs. I only mentioned it because if Christy's friend wasn't interested in feeding raw there was no point in me giving her all the details to contact them. If that's important to the breeder they have every right to put that in a policy and the potential dog owners have every right to say no and look for a puppy elsewhere.Cowgirl said:Ok ok ok. I couldn't resist. I think controlling what the new owners feed the pup is going a bit far. I can completely understand limiting breeding, and making sure housing is appropriate (i.e. fenced yard, must live indoors, etc) but to specify that the dog HAS to be fed a certain diet? That's a little much. IMO, of course.
