Chopticon teacher on a week +++cruise???

My niece is graduating from a local public high school this year and she's been given a $50,000 scholarship from a Carolina college she applied to...:yahoo:

We were told this by the guidance dept when we registered.

20 kids going to a 4 year university off the bat is pretty darn good... I think our class was like that when I graduated with 600+ kids...

...but like I said, the majority of them went to CSM in the fall and then transferred to a 4 year university after 2 years.

Back then, this was a rural area and people did not make major $$$ like they do now, or saved up for kids educations with the savings plans which are in existence today.

We were told that less than 20 students from Choption went off to 4 year universities last year. Thats wonderful:bigwhoop:

69.7% of the class planned on attending college..

Of that 28% were planning on a 2 year school..

Maybe your private school math is not so good.. but i don't think 20 is 69% of 400
