I, myself, also find chores to be therapeutic and sometimes enjoyable.

Then they are, by definition, NOT chores and have become...hobbies.



One of my BIL's is like that; he takes the sink apart to clean it.

Well, if the hubby is gonna holler at her for not doing it the way he likes it done, that would be funny and apropos.

However, they say sex is one thing you don't have to be good at to have fun. No mention of chores in the same context.

(Newser) – Researchers at Cambridge University may have just discovered the secret to happiness, at least for men: Do more chores. Men from seven European countries were found to have an improved sense of well-being and work-life balance, as well as less work-life conflict, if they helped more around the house, the Telegraph reports. Researchers were expecting women to be happier when their partners shouldered more of the load, but found that it made basically no difference to them.
