Chris had gone cold for a while but has hit # 40 with 3 coming the in last 3 games !
He has a very reasonable shot at bettering the club record of 50 by Brady Anderson, right? He needs to stay hot like he was the first month of the season. That would greatly enhance the O's chances of making the playoffs, maybe even a real shot at the division.

You know why? That God Damn Home Run Derby. Every single participant changes their swing to try and get more elevation. And it usually takes 2 to 3 weeks for the hitting coach to dial them back in.

O's now host Tampa Bay for 3 starting Monday and a SWEEP will look good for their September drive for a Wild Card play off

Sweep? SWEEP????? The O's are 5-7 vs dreaded Rays, with 7 games to go. The O's need to go 5-2 to just have a winning record vs those guys.
I hope not, but fear so, and that will seriously jeopardize any O's hope of playoffs.
The dreaded Rays seem to have the Baltimores #, and that has irked me since 1999.
