Cinnamon Sugar Butter

Has anyone else tried this yet? Land o' Lakes has a tub of soft spread cinnamon sugar butter.

It's awesome. Can't wait to try it on pancakes and waffles and toast and anything else I can think of to spread it on.....

I don't understand products like this. It takes 2.3 seconds (yes, I've timed it) to mix cinnamon and sugar into softened butter. Why pay more so the Land O' Lakes people will do it for you?

 I just never thought of doing that before. But now that I know, making my own is certainly an option.

It seems like people have become lazy and have more money than time. I always have made everything from scratch and always will. A lot more healthy and tastes mo betta' than products with all the preservatives and questionable ingredients!

What?!
Cinnamon Honey Butter (Taste just like Texas Road Houses)

1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. honey
1 tsp. ground cinnamon

Whip the room temperature butter with whisk attachment for 30 seconds. Add powdered sugar, honey and cinnamon and beat until completely combined and very smooth. Scrape down sides of bowl and turn up speed and whip for a minute or two or until really light and fluffy. Yield: about 3/4 cup.

It takes more than 2.3 seconds to get the ingredients together, mix it, and scrape it all back into a bowl. I HATE being in the kitchen so if I can afford the convenience, then good on me.

I don't like all that kitchen time either, but I'm opposed to the extra crap they put in like the preservatives and other chemical concoctions. So I find now that I take more time to make home cooked meals like baking turkeys, chickens, pot roast, etc. I then make sure to freeze some of it for another day that don't cook .

Dear Betty Crocker aka Jameo

Please prepare a large container of this for mini me, and I'll pay you back for the ingredients. That child LOVES that stuff at Texas Roadhouse!

Thanks

PS
I don't mind cooking some, but I would rather avoid having to do it if I can

Because we are lazy. Why get out butter, cinnamon AND sugar when you can use the Land O'Lakes and only one container?

Growin' up, we made out own butter (and yogurt, and ice cream, and butter milk and cottage cheese and...it was a dairy farm, after all). I don't recall there ever being a morning where the cinnamon-honey-butter wasn't on the breakfast table. Funny how some things are "rediscovered" every now and again.
