Clean Your Plate (eat it ALL)

Smaller plate worked for me. But, I also have made a discipline (and I'll tell you it's HARD!) of taking only a bite or two of anything sweet, and tossing it. Take my kids to Brewster's and I order a child size cup. No more than three bites in and out it goes. Actually went to Sweet Frog with my dd yesterday and was pleased that I could put just a taste in my cup and only pay for that, so no more wasting money at Brewster's for us.

But, if weight loss is the goal, the bottom line is that it is not going to be easy, and there is no way to make it easy. Exercise, and denying yourself what everyone-else-is-eating is the only way to go.

F that. I refuse to die missing the pleasures of life to stay in the clothes sizes I wore when I was 18. What would be the point?

It keeps my husband staring at my ass, drinking in my nakedness, and lusting after me instead of someone else...worth it to me.

I just want to get the extra crap around my mid-section off because all the new reports are saying that weight in that area is dangerous for you. Unlike some women who get bigger thighs/butt, I get the weight in my mid-section. When I was 18 years old I wore a size Zero or One and I weighed about 96 pounds. I really don't think I'll ever see that again unless I end up sick and dying. I'll be happy to be back to 125 again.

I was always told it was rude manners to clean your plate. :ohwell:

Take small bites, chew throughly and repeat and always leave a bite or two remaining on your plate.



if you clear your plate, you obviously want more ... the host will heap on 2nds

Not looking to be a fat old geezer myself BUT I may still drink some liquor and have ice cream before bed if I have a mind to do so.

:high5: I'm the only woman I know who eats and drinks whatever I please and doesn't worry about the size of my butt. I can't starve myself or my golf swing will suffer.

Our Dad made us put our plates over our heads and turn them over before we could be excused. I remember my brother ended up having SpaghettiOs on his head once.
