They DO NOT have Pride! They are a couple of double X chromosome humans that play soccer at a bit higher level then a typical college team. They get paid better than they would as a Female Studies professor. Not a bit to do with "pride." At least, not American Pride. Maybe another type of pride though...

I have it on ignore and that's fine.

But they are not proud of America - I love my country, with all its failings and problems, just as I love my family.
I don't have to declare before the world about every little thing they do that I don't like and embarass them.
I am proud of my wife, with all her faults - my son, and daughters. I do not stand in front of crowds and humiliate them to make a point.

I am sure all of those other athletes that are proudly representing their nations are KEENLY aware of its failures.
They sneered at their own country in front of people who have no ability whatsoever to enact change that they want.
Let me make that point clear - if you want to effect change in something, you make it to the ones who can do something.

If you don't want to represent the United States, I am sure SOMEONE might let you play for them - that is, unless you choose to embarass THEM on a national stage.
