I'm not a JJ fan, but one of my best friends is a JJ fan, big time. I bet she is doing cartwheels in her living room right now.

Dayum that was a close finish.

At least Bobby's outfit and car look good.
He's about the cleanest driver out there and did a damn good job of trying to hold on. No shame here, 600 miles and just a couple of feet short of victory.

But he still got out of that car and kicked it. :killingme
 I thought that was cute. I'm going to go hug my life-size, Chef-boyardee Labonte, Stewart & Gibbs cardboard cut-out!

I didn't think I suggested he should feel ashamed.

And my comment wasn't made to imply that you had. My comment was directed towards Bobby finishing second, which by NASCAR standards is damn good and that he shouldn't feel bad about it. He drivers in a very clean, sportsman-like manner unlike most of the other drivers that were out there that would have squeezed Johnson into the wall and risked wrecking them both to hold on to the lead if they had been in his position.

:howdy: What did I miss? I just got home from the bonfire where tonight I found out that next weekend, I am off to the race!!!! I have GOT to go to bed after a very long weekend. Thank you my special fairy godmothers :diva:
The weekend isn't over this week until Tuesday morning. It was nice meeting you and putting a face with your posts, for some reason I feel there is something familiar about you, but I am not quite sure why. It could be that you remind me of someone from days past as I can't recall ever having the pleasure of meeting you before. Any way, have fun at the race next weekend and don't forget ear protection.

crabcake

But wait, there's more...
 WHAT A RACE! My man pulls it off again!

And for the record, I was doing cartwheels in bed watching it, which wasn't well-received considering someone had to get up at 5 a.m. to work today.

And it looks like next weekend's race will be a lotta fun for more than one reason! :yay:

Oh no, you mean I have to enjoy today also? Okay, I can do that.. I have been off since Thursday afternoon and have enjoyed every minute of the weekend. It was very nice meeting you and your wife looked familiar also. I used to be in the public eye when I taught Jazzercise, maybe our paths have crossed over the years. Now I know why Yosemite Sam is you AV. :patriot: :patriot:

And MIKE :neener:

I did not sit down for the last 4 laps of this race. It was easily one of the most exciting races I have ever witnessed. I was very disappointed about the finish obviously but the way the first half of the season has gone for Bobby things are starting to look up. ( I hope). I think having Jimmy Makar on the box may have helped some also.

Bobby is usually good at Dover and Michigan and they are right down the road so maybe he can salvage a good season out of this.
