If I may ...

this makes no cents to me.

but those are just my two cents.

I suppose this is what happens when common cents is in short supply.

Italy still has plenty of pennes.

can anyone make heads or tails of this?

I feel like we're being nickel-and-dimed.

Dimebag Darrell is dead.

thankfully my dog can pick up on cents.

is this some sort of coin-cidence?

that one clown who hoarded all his change sure is Pennywise
Cute, but you still ain't got enough cents to change your mind.

I buy coin by the box - have had no problem getting it from the two different banks I deal with. Just got a box of quarters last Friday.

This makes no sense. as coins stay in circulation for decades, where paper money lasts a year or two in active circulation. You would think we would have a paper currency shortage well before we have a coin shortage.

I think we should all do our part, and I'll volunteer as a collection point. If you have ANY coins, feel free to stop in any time day or night, and drop your coins in our collection box, we'll ensure your lost coins get returned to circulation as quickly as possible.

I'm willing to make this sacrifice on my own, spending my own time sorting and returning these lost coins to where they belong, but if you feel the need and want to help, please, go online and donate to our gofundme site.

DO it for your country, we are depending on you!!

Morgan dollars here, anything clad is junk to me for spending. Problem is.... what does 90 cents buy???
I prefer just the silver.. I like Morgans, and have several (as well as Silver Krugerands), but prefer just silver bars and rounds.

Morgan Prettiest design ever IMHO. If I can steal one that's MS graded I'll make a play for it but only if I can catch someone napping.

The US is facing a coin shortage — and it's forcing the Federal Reserve to take the unusual step of rationing its distribution

"What's happened is that with the partial closure of the economy, the flow of coins through the economy ... it's kind of stopped," Powell told lawmakers. He said the shortage was due to the mass business closures that prevented people from spending their coins, as well as a lack of places that are open where people can trade coins for paper bills.

"We've been aware of it, we're working with the Mint to increase supply, we're working with the reserve banks to get the supply to where it needs to be," Powell said, adding he expected the problem to be temporary.

Powell added that the problem would only be temporary, given the economy was reopening and establishments that traditionally deposit their cash into banks were beginning to restart operations.

I agree on all counts 1893 is a tough nut to crack in my opinion. I can't justify 300$ or more for a half way decent example...but I am cheap.

That is true, and I'm the same. I'd spend $$$ on a great morgan, but not $50 for a ehhh one..

I do have a MS70 first year issue Krugerand that I will keep forever.

If I can find a deal on W Eagles, I'll buy a few of those too.

And w v75 Samoa quarters

Oh, and I got some coins at auction from "The Littleton Coin Company" and thought it HAS to be a small mom and pop storefront, like a sports card, or comic book store. Well we just got back from Northern NH and Littleton was on the ATV trail.. was I surprised
