Is it too much to hope they are passing out the poisoned kool aide?

Kerry is crying that the E.C. needs to be changed. I guess when you can't win even with cheating, you need to change the rules.

Why? He would have lost by 3M votes anyway.

Would he rather that each state has the same number of votes? Look at the map, its almost all Bush. Kerry was just forunate to grab a few high vote states that have a liberal bend. Pretty pitiful to take New York, California, and Pennsylvania and still not win. He's going to whine about this for months - or go crazy like Gore.

I heard that it would have ended up Bush/Edwards.... I think it was the Republicans would pick the president and the dems would pick out vice president because things would have gotten kicked back to congress/senate
It's not that the Republicans pick President and Democrats pick the Vice-President - remember, there were NO political parties at the time of the Constitution. The newly elected House picks the President, and the newly elected Senate, the Vice-President.

Like so (because it's not a straight up and down vote) -

Weird, huh? But I really can't believe with a Republican as President, they'd confirm a Democrat as Vice-President.

Fox just said Kerry called an conceded. If true, I'm shocked.

I'd have bet on him to be worse than Gore.

I must admit that Kerry deserves a little bit of respect for actually conceding. :yay:

Congratulations to BUSH/CHENEY!

Thank God our country will be lead in the right direction for four more years. Moral values prevailed yesterday at the polls.

It's good to see that not all Americans were fooled by Kerry's attempts to portray himself as someone of 'High Moral' values. It still amazes me that some of the Churches would allow him to speak to their congregation. Biblical values and partial birth abortions are 180 degrees out of phase and I am glad to see that so many Christians could see through the deception. GOD BLESS GEORGE W. BUSH AND THE UNITED STATES FOR 4 MORE YEARS...

Precisely what the democratic party is trying to do with this.... They know the Republicans have control of the Senate & the House and they are trying to get some sympathy now... The Democrats are trying to paint it like he had some other alternative! HE LOST

I would have liked to see Kerry admit the loss without putting in some reservations about, not wanting to divide the nation anymore & actually saying that they could have possibly won Ohio, but it would have been a long process. C'mon... Admit you loss and stop trying to get the good nod for doing us a favor.

I didn't say he was any less of a tool, I'm just saying that it was a good gesture and thanks for not dragging it out like Al Bore.

I will admit that he is smarter than Al Gore. But I dont' consider it a good gesture, but more of a good tactic to help himself.
