The daycare behind ACE hardware in Lusby is Adventure Point it is a sister daycare to Solomons Daycare in Solomons, Adventure point is only for School aged Children period. So no infant slots there. Solomons daycare does have infant slots, but the last time I checked it was a 28 month waiting list. I used to work there, and there waiting list never went under 12 months or so. Sorry! Good luck! :smooch:

:howdy:

We're taking my son's Tiger Cub Den to a corn maze in a couple weeks, so thanks everybody for your input on the different mazes. Gonna email/call the different mazes to see what they have available for the scouts.

Bowles Farms is awesome - I went with co-workers on Thursday for a team-building event. We go every year. :yay: Never been to the other, but I do know it's very nice, just a smaller maze than Bowles'.

:huggy: Thanks Jabba - we are heading out in a few as soon as some people around here get shoes on. :duh: I am pretty sure this is the 4th time I've asked.

Sorry about that chief.
Went to Pleasant View Farms in Benedict today. It was great for the little ones, mine are 6 & 3. They had a petting zoo, pumpkin patch and Casper's Barn, kind of a haunted barn with cartoon characters like spongebob, big bird, wizard of oz, etc. Not too scary for the little ones, and a hay bale maze.

I think the corn maze would have been too much for little kids, but this was just right.

The kids had a blast. #1 son, his friend and Pete's son went in one group and DH, me and #2 son went in another. They had a 2-way radio, and I guess after about 45 minutes they were tired of walking and yelled for us on the 2-way to find them. :killingme when we went into the 2nd maze, they wouldn't leave our side. Then, we took the hayride around the place and the kids got to see where a tornado touched down and took a good chuck of the maze out. Then the kids had snack and played some more. They were worn out when we left.

This was the first pumpkin farm I have ever been to that the kids didn't get a pumpkin of their choice at the end. All the pumpkin farms I’ve ever been to include that in the price of admission. They wanted an additional $5-$10 for a pumpkin. Now, it is my understanding that pumpkin crops didn’t do very well this year so we thought maybe that was the reason. Or has it always been that way there? Lets face it, they charge an additional $1.00 for a hayride on top of the $8.00 to get in so my guess is no.

Either way, pumpkin or no pumpkin the kids had a blast.

And Jabba, I saw your little bug and I think I talked to Tim.

I agree with you about Bowles. The prices anyways. We had a blast though. Kizzy-I think you did meet my husband, Tim. The kiddos had a blast and we did pay the $10 for each girlie to get their own pumpkin.
