Your friends, Vrai, are hens. My friends (forumite and not) give me the high five and are happy for me as long as I'm happy and make no judgments.

Honestly, there are reasons I am not attracted to older men and I might post it later when I have time, as I don't mind saying. I have indeed given it some thought.

Really? I have had mostly younger men as dates and lovers. When I go out, that's who talks to me and who asks me out. Vrai and other friends, forumites and not, never judged and welcomed my relationships into their lives.

I have recently dated older men and enjoy men period, age is not a factor in enjoying men and life.

I’m still not convinced that the average “mature” woman could match the appetites of a middle aged man much less the affections of a boy toy.

You seem to have a chip on your shoulder. I take it you're not getting any?

Have they mercilessly teased you as Vrai suggested? If so, why do you suppose they do? Just curious.

Good for you Dye. :huggy:

Just for clarity sake, what do you consider a mature woman? Age range please.

Why would anyone tease? After divorce, my first long term relationship was someone 19 years younger. He came after me. We still talk, 14 years later. He got the 3 kids he wanted.
I can be teased for the older men I date also...Just depends(no pun intended) on the man

So 4d, inquiring minds wanna know, did your GILF keep up with ya?
oh ya, we hooked up a few times (this was back in Ok). She had an amazing body if she wasnt at work then she was at the gym (where I met her), Did NOT look her age at all. I was getting over the "D" word so I didnt want a relationship at the time and she did so we split ways after a bit. I was stupid for that, she was great. She is now married to a moron.

I would define mature as over 35

Getting any - Middle aged and married for many years – so no.

Over 35? You should get out more. I know plenty of women over 35 that would eat a young man for breakfast and leave him crying for mommy. I bet many women in here would disagree with you.

That's because you're blind. It's a scientific fact that a woman's drive is higher in her mid-life years than in her youth. I'm not gonna sit here and dispute a FACT with someone that chooses to ignore them and believe whatever they want to.

I know you aren't referring to Me. That wasn't My term. Considering the dynamics, that was anything but the case.

Edit: Here's one link for ya. Go Ask Alice!: Increased sex drive for women in their thirties?

Women that age who want to play with little boys are rare. They're out there, but by the time a woman hits 35 she's supposed to have enough self-confidence to not concern herself with the youngsters.

Hollywood celebrities live in a world of vanity and immaturity, since they make their living with their face and body. Having a very young boyfriend on her arm makes her appear younger, just like the old guys who strut around with some 20 year old. This is acceptable, even envied, in those types of circles, but in real life if a 40 year old woman shows up with some 20 year old toy boy, her friends will make merciless fun of her.

Even though we must have crossed paths in the 90's, I don't think with you knowing me now that you would seriously question my judgment in any younger men I dated. And I KNOW y'all would have no problem voicing your opinions.
We are all different ages and comfortable hanging out. No one makes fun of me for being older. If I go out with a man who is 45, that would be a "younger" man, and you would not care.
You don't think of me as 'an age'. I hope you would not think of any of my dates as 'an age' either.

No, because he would be my age, and therefore your age as well; all adults are the same age.

But if you showed up with some 22 year old kid, I'd think that was hysterical. 20 years younger than you is early to mid-30s, and acceptable. 20 years younger than me is 25, and a total no-go. The older people are, the less an age gap shows.

My first serious relationship AD was with a 20 year old - I was 28 and felt that age gap BIG TIME. We did okay until I happened to run into the son of an old friend, and he greeted my beau - they had graduated from high school together.

:roflmao:

ACK!!! :jameo: :cds:

Anyway, that was the beginning of the end.

Nice to know that you can be almost at the top of your career ladder, a parent, have a mortgage, etc. and still not qual as an adult.

If I show up with some 22 year old kid, have me committed. :faint: At this point in my life and after dating all ages, shapes and kinds of men, I think 10 years either side of me is good for a long term relationship.

Young people always think they know everything and have experienced all there is in life. :huggy:
