Do you use them?

Do you actually buy the product because you have a coupon?

I think coupons are for women.

Me, I go to a store buy what I need, and get out.
I never even look at the receipt.

That is all.

I used to, but I found myself buying stuff I would never use/eat just because I had a coupon... So I stopped.

I go to the store with my list, buy what I need and get out

When SuperFresh used to have the BOGO sales, I would use coupons. My best savings was about $80.00 one shopping trip.

I hardly ever do anymore. Stick to my list and go...

I don't use the coupons from the Sunday paper and the like because the quantity to buy makes the deal less appealing. I found myself spending more money than I really needed to.

However, I do use the shoppers coupons for Hot Pockets, Cereal and other items I use regularly. But, I will admit to having stopped calling in the survey for the free French bread. I couldn't eat it all fast enough. I used the coupons from last weeks SFW paper for the free chips. I was buying Lays anyway. Sometimes it works.

I clip the coupons at work (I'd never waste my time at home doing it) and only for the crap I buy all the time. The only ones I really use are for cleaning stuff.

I tried using coupons for a while. Well okay, once or twice! Seemed like I would take loads of time to clip just those for products I normally bought, went to the store, and left the coupons home. Figured it just wasn't meant to be. Too much trouble!! Now, like lots of others, I just go in, get what I need and get the heck out!!

Mostly for stuff I use alot like yogurt, cereal and shampoo and papertowels. I only clip coupns for stuff I acutally use. It saves an average of 20 bucks off of every grocery bill when you include the bonus savings card :yay:

I use BJ's coupon booklet, Sunday supplements occasionally, bonus card items, and will print coupons from websites for household items, dog necessitites and/or discount admission type deals. I definitely use the Sunday insert for Michael's and any other local store that usually populates the circular with their coupon, IF I am in need of their product/service/establishment.
