Another Crab recipe:

Crab with Sherry in Shells

Ingredients:
2 cups crab meat
2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
1 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon grated onion
1 teaspoon chopped parsley
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
3 tablespoons sherry
1 cup buttered bread crumbs

Directions:
Mix all the ingredients, saving out 1/3 cup of bread crumbs for the top. Place in scallop shells or ramekins and cover with the remainder of the crumbs. (This may be prepared in the morning and stored in the refrigerator, taking out ahead of time to remove the chill.) Bake in a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes.

I've never been to clarks landing, but my friend makes the most amazing hot crab dip ever. I have the recipe at home. I can post it tomorrow if you want....the only bad thing--it's definitely not low in carbs.

I made the crab cakes, they were great. I haven't dome the imperial yet. I was the other night because I bought a pound of lump (ouch) but I made CC instead. It's just the boy and I so I don't make the high priced stuff that often.

Don't know anything about Clark's Landing, but I made this yesterday for a party.

2 lbs pkg of velveeta
8 oz pkg of cream cheese
1 lb crabmeat
1 C sour cream
Old bay to taste

Melt the cheeses in the microwave, stirring occasionally. Mix in the rest. Keep warm in a crockpot on low, make sure to stir it occasionally.

I put it in a 3 qt crockpot and I'd guess it took up about 2 qts. My aunt, who gave me the recipe usually mades a double batch, but she has a larger crockpot.

I know of a pretty good recipie USING crab imperial. Used to make it when I was a chef at Solomons Pier. Its called the fishermans paradise, ( I dont know if i should be tellin this but oh well) You take 2 decent sized flounder fillets (or whatever kind of fish you want, just flounder work and tastes good) lay one flat on a baking sheet (or whatever you want to broil it on...Make a cut in the other fillet running about 1/2 the length of the fillet in the middle of it all the way through the fillet. Put a nice sized scoop of Imperial on the bottom piece, and cover with the fillet with the cut in it and kinda push the Imperial up through the cut, then broil till the fish ic cooked and enjoy it, it can also be drizzilied in a cream of crab soup to keep the imperial from drying out. Sorry its kind of a vauge recipie, but its more or less done by sight, not portion. And if you dont know at what temp to cook fish at, then you shouldnt be living so close to the water. Later -Mike

Bump for huntr. Find your own darn recipe and get back to me.

For those who feel the mad desire to know...
He's been talking about a good crab imperial recipe for a week now. Someone was supposed to get one for him, but huntr didn't even ask for it until Wed and didn't check his email at all yesterday. Only to find out today, the guy doesn't have the recipe. He wants to have rockfish stuffed with crab imperial tonight, but wants ME to find him a recipe.
