We'll see, I think if they can bring the price down enough and keep the content high enough it might last. Might not. The battery production process is the key.
The people that bought it with the intention of flipping it for more and then failing spectacularly in such a short time is what lead me to my conclusion. Those people deserved that.

I wonder if the angular shape messes with radar.

Not sure what the CT has to do with this. Passing a cop while exceeding the limit is asinine. Cop gave this guy an IQ test and he failed. The extra 200 bucks is a stupidity penalty.

I was thinking it was going to be about what the speedometers are calibrated to. I know many are set purposely to read higher than actual so you don't get a ticket and claim it was telling you it was fine. Then I thought maybe it had to do with the shape messing with the radar.

I heard a story/tall tale about someone painting their car with some flat gray aircraft paint (RAM?) that was thrown out and how they never got a speeding ticket

Dont buy the RAM thing. But I can say for sure that BMW speedos are set high. The German govt and now the EU actually penalize the companies if the speeedo reads low so they bake in a generous leeway. I've test four different ones against GPS, in one case two different GPS units at once and there's always an error. The 2008 motorcycle was always 3-5mph higher than actual between 65-85. The 2010 and 2020 convertibles (sons and wifes cars) both have about the same. My new 2023 motorcycle is always 5mph high between 60-85....

But that high on purpose to covers BMWs ass. I fail to believe that Tesla sets a speedo that wrong on the low side. Don't think I've ever heard of that from any maker.
