Mommy Dearest was diagnosed about 3 weeks ago and declined treatment. I believe she's had it for several months, maybe. She passed Thursday night. The last few times I visited her, she went in and out of a morphine induced sleep.
Sorry for your loss.

My own mother had a similar pattern. Diagnosed late stage 4, lungs, liver, spine, bone etc. and passed two months later.

She was ready. She had made her peace with The Lord. She got to visit with her 4yo great-granddaughter from Texas, for the very first time, while she was still in fairly good shape and it really cheered her up. They had a wonderful day together.
So sorry for your loss. Glad she was able to see her great granddaughter.

So sorry to you and your family. I know it has been painful for you to watch her decline.
