Daycare problem????

My problem is not the sex of the provider (after all, I am my wife's official alternate, I watch the day care kids when she takes herself, or our kids, to the Dr.) it's the "we're closed for the summer" part.

My sister runs an in-home daycare in NC....she's closed for the summer. She usually has teachers' children...so that makes a difference. Plus, she had a baby at the end of June, so that also is a factor. I can't remember what she did last year...but I'm pretty sure she was also closed. It pays to watch teachers' children!

I'm guessing that they have too many of their own kids and are just doing before and after care. :shrug:

Depending on the age of the children, your don't count against you in MD. Once they are in school, they don't count.
