Correct not thinking straight . Sorry2001
Bad stuff, last 20 laps I was pulling for him to win, Newman has always been a nice guy on interviews. Right now I just hope he is OK without any life altering injuries.
The damage to Newman's Mustang was extensive; it appeared the entire roll cage designed to protect his head had caved.
I read that, too - that's encouraging news! I was away from media all day today for training at work. Did they say what types of injuries he had?Per Roush Racing , Newman is awake and talking with Family & Doctors
No comment on that issue yet from Hospital or NASCAR.I read that, too - that's encouraging news! I was away from media all day today for training at work. Did they say what types of injuries he had?
II guessing he won't be racing at Las Vegas on Sunday.
Congrats on picking HAMLIN as WINNERI guessing he won't be racing at Las Vegas on Sunday.
Just saw a pic posted on FB of him standing by his hospital bed, in the standard gown, with his 2 girls in front of him. He looks unscathed. What a miracle.
Newman is known in NASCAR as the hardest guy to pass. I think we all know very bad things can happen when you block at super speedways.Congrats on picking HAMLIN as WINNER
Didn't really want to comment until sure of
Newman
That's a far cry from "non-life threatening", which could have meant being busted up pretty good, arms, legs, burns, etc... He looks terrific!Just saw a pic posted on FB of him standing by his hospital bed, in the standard gown, with his 2 girls in front of him. He looks unscathed. What a miracle.
