I was driving home yesterday, had the radio on and was like SOB, the Daytona 500!?!?! My picks I forgot my picks !!!

You FORGOT !!!!! I have been waiting for 3 months for this event . Stgslander our current leader has 5 points over you so 1 WIN can put you back in the pack !

I'm out. I'm camping/training/travelling every weekend from now till August. I'll be lucky to even listen to a race, let alone watch another. Maybe next year.

Worst Daytona 500 I have seen since 2000. The finish was good though.

And that Fox telecast was dreadful. Think they were at commercial for 120 consecutive laps, or so it felt. Jaws needs to retire from broadcasting and take his little brother with him.

I seem to remember, if there was a wreck or something that caused a caution, they would cut back from commercial. I'm guessing the advertisers pay too much now for that to happen. At least with the split screen during the later laps, you can watch the race while the commercials play.

I thought that it was good race, as far as plate races go.
Would have been even better if Truex got the win, but glad NASCAR is back!!
