Dead Animal Removal

Anyone know which organization around here handles the removal of dead animals (road kill)? I've noticed a dead deer by the roadside for days and instead of assuming someone else has already called, I really want to make sure it is on the 'agenda" for removal.

Muchas gracias!

I've had to call State Roads before to pick up dead animals I can't bury by myself. They came out within 24 hours. Hope this helps.

Wish they'd have cleaned the one up this morning on the St Mary's side of Solomons Bridge. I didn't see it in time and......

Thanks for the heads up! I just called hubby to warn him about it. Hopefully, he'll remember when he leaves for work.

at least it's off the road. i noticed a dead animal in the middle of a road near me one time that was there for at least 3 weeks. and today there was one back in the same spot, so it'll probably be there for awhile :ohwell:

They had an episode of Dirty Jobs on this. Rowe was not liking it.

My dad spent a very short time in his youth working for PennDot, doing exactly that.

I think he lasted almost 3 days with that job. :lmao:
