I live 5 minutes away also. I was just in Safeway and the cashier was telling me about it - first I heard anything.

Well, it is pretty prevalent amongst the druggies hereabouts...

Somewhere along the lines that I was thinking.
Why can't the police have better enforcement of these issues - everyone knows what is going on for Pete's Sake - everyone even knows they've been selling weed out of Pizza Hut for YEARS.
What is stopping the enforcement? I bet if they observed the goings on over at the damn detailing/barber shop/tattoo parlor they'd have a major news drug bust in no time!
I grew up in that area too!!! Over in Potomac Heights by Indian Head. I got the heck out of there 20 years ago and now here I sit in Lusby and the thing damn thing has followed me to Calvert!!
But the memories of Potomac Heights, Indian Head, Bryans Road and even Waldorf were great. I miss Charles County, it's been gone for years.
What do you suggest they do? Specifically?
OMG I'm telling my age now!!! I remember Dart Drug!! ROTFLOL
I remember Custards last stand..and Xene"s.My hubby and I ate at Xene"s often.I lived in Pot Hghts for 20 yrs.And now in Bryans Road.My daughter work"s in the shopping center, and talks about the crap that goes on there.I work in B.R myself but heard very little about the man dead in the car.Everyone is asking..but no info.Which makes me wonder if this was a local person. Everybody knows everybody around this way and I think a name would be out by now ,if it was a local person.
Here's one for you: Anybody remember Custards' Last Stand on Glymont Road.....
Was that Apperson's? How about the arcade..Funcade in Bryans Rd?
There was an arcade in Bryans Road? I remember one that was in Glymont - outside of Pot Heights.
Apperson's then became a sub shop that I can't remember the name and I worked there too.
I'm reading this thread and all of the sudden this song came to mind...
Treerat,
Rt. 227 and Rt. 210. The sad thing is some of those older brick homes between the shopping center and the base are very beautiful... it is a shame the area had to go and change so much...
