Isn't amazing how santa comes out with "people" like 2A and railroad? The ID railroad says it all; guess he/she already is busy making toys for santa. I don't know about 2A's condition, mystic, dreamer, or just plain sucker living as human. First two can be overcome. The last one is already too late.
Sad for them. This life is the best they will have unless they do eventually choose the tooth fairy's way of salvation. Even the Easter Bunny with his colored eggs got a last minute reprieve.
Thank you slotted for bringing out that satan and his minions are liars and deceivers. The biggest lie that satan has ever perpetrated on humanity is that he does not exist. If satan can convince people that he does not exist, then he is not to be feared. If satan does not exist, then the idea that God does not exist is an easy step. When a person takes that step, satan has that person's soul unless that person finds and believes the Truth at some point in their life.
This also brings up a point of contention that I have pointed out before and gotten heat for because of my position. I really do not think Christians should teach or perpetuate the myths of Santa Clause, the Easter bunny, the Tooth Fairy, or other mythical children's fantasies. Obviously, you can if you so choose, but my reasoning is actually pointed out by slotted's post. If Christians teach their Children about God, who they cannot see, and Santa Clause, who they cannot see (or see multiple of, some of whom are obvious frauds), and the Easter Bunny, who they cannot see, and Leprechauns, and fairies, and other mythical beings, it opens the door for satan's lie that God does not exist. We, as our children grow up, let them find out that Santa is not real (or is the spirit of Christmas - another lie - Jesus is the reason for or the Spirit of Christmas), the Easter Bunny is not real, etc, but we also expect our children to believe that God is real. See the problem? Santa and the Easter Bunny are distractions from the real meaning of Christmas and Easter. I became convinced of that when I observed in East Berlin before the wall fell that the Communist regime allowed Santa and the Easter Bunny but persecuted Christians and did not allow manger scenes or representations of the crucifixion.
I don't think it is bad to give gifts at Christmas, but I think Christians should teach that Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Y'shua, Jesus. If our children ask about Santa ( notice what name you can spell if you rearrange the letters), then Christians can use that as an opportunity to teach the real meaning of Christmas. Same thing with the Easter Bunny. I think it would be OK to even tell our children as Christians that Santa and the Easter Bunny are imaginary beings that we have fun with, but that Christians should separate the real God from the imaginary Santa, Easter Bunny, and the like. Doing so allows for the fun of the seasons but keeps the Truth in the season, too.
