Dear Keurig people:

I picked up the B70 from Kohls last week for $85 then sold my old one for $35. Keep an eye for the Kohls deals where you can stack their coupons.

Big Cat is good for trying it out but once I new what I liked Amazon had the best price by almost 20 cents savings per kcup. Plus I like using subscribe and save.

edit: It was 20 cents, no only a nickel, but Amazon has free shipping.

I got one for my anniversary and love.I need to figure out how to raise the water temperature because it doesn't seem hot enough.

This is my complaint too, Can you really raise the water temp??

You can raise it to, I think, 190 degrees-ish. Which is drinking temp, and fine with me. The single cup model - the really small one that you have to fill each time you make a cup - is a LOT hotter than that. No idea what the actual temp is, but it's so hot that the coffee will burn you if you don't let it cool first.

Just got a Keurig for Christmas and I love it! :yahoo:

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll have to actually take a look at the directions and raise the temp a little. With a toddler, my coffee doesn't stay hot for long so I'd like it to come out a little hotter so my first few sips are more than luke warm.

one day the dark will end
This morning my beloved Keurig decided it didn't want to make coffee anymore. Wouldn't pump water most of the time, and when it did pump it backed hot water up into the reservoir. This happened to me before and the Keurig people sent me a new brewer.

Not wanting to live without my Keurig for that long again, I did a google search. One forum said to "burp" it: remove the water reservoir and any K-cups in the holder, tip it upside down and give it a slap on the bottom.

It worked.

My Keurig is back to normal, churning out joe like it always has. So there's your tip for the day.

Dear Keurig,
I have a wonderful Black and Becker "Pod" one cup coffee maker. Better than you as I can make 3 different sizes of coffee..takes a 100% recyclable filter "pod". Makes it quicker than you and I can make my own custon blends with a pod kit!!!
Enjoy the taste of your hot plastic cups..hope your customers enjoy plastic in their coffee!!!!
Oh, and thanks for adding yet more plastic to our landfills!!!

PS: My Black and Decker is an adult..it doesn't need to be "burped"!!!:killingme

Continuing your streek of lame, sanctimonious remarks. It must take real talent to be that annoying for that long.
