Dear Neighbor Rant

nomoney

....
To me, (an owner of 3 dogs that makes sure if they do crap in someone elses property that it gets cleaned up.) Yes- having someone elses dog crap in my yard is one of the "trivial" things that urk me. I do not like going out in the morning -after having run mad all morning getting myself and the kids ready - walking out to my truck only to step in a pile of crap and having to go back inside to change my slacks and shoes and pry the kids away from the cartoons again. I don't like going out to the mailbox only to step in a pile of crap and I don't like having to check for land mines when my kids want to go play in our front yard with friends. It's just something that I'd like to call respect for your neighbor. If you allow your dogs/cats/penquins wth ever to crap on someone elses property because you don't want any of the crap in your yard - I view that as an insult. What makes my yard more in need of crap then your yard?

Trivial neighbor stuff to me that doesn't bug me enough to make a fuss over it or waste energy over it, loud music, warming up motorcycles at 530 am for a half an hour on full throttle, etc..... but letting something actually deficate in my yard? Have a little common sense and respect for your neighbor :yay:

Nah, you're not the only one. I don't care if the neighbor's dogs crap in my yard. I figure if that's the only thing I have to be concerned with, I've got a pretty good life. :yay:

Life's too short to worry about a little dog doo. :ohwell:
I could be that you don't care because an elephant could crap in your yard for a week and you wouldn't know it?

that's when you go running out, scoop it up and chase her yelling for everyone to hear "you forgot your dog sh!t!!. Hey, don't leave without your dog sh!t!"

I recently followed the neighbor home after her 2 dogs paid our yard visit.
The neighbor's new and I already had a few encounters with them about the landmines the dogs were leaving. :war:
We have 7 dogs in a fenced yard...so this day I pick my 2 best soldiers, harnessed them up and followed the enemy back to her compound.
I sat out front and openly declared war on everyone inside. "If you want a chit war....you have it!"
One of my guys left the greatest calling card in their driveway....the timing was perfect.
The lady threaten to send her husband down to deal with me later that day.
That was last Sunday.....haven't heard or seen anything from them since.

Now that's just ghetto.

I have to worry about more deer, rabbit, and groundhog dookie in the yard than I do dog dookie. Neo doesn't like to drop off the kids in his yard, he would rather go near the tree line and drop em off.

Its pretty rude, esp. in a neighborhood. I always pick up after mine if I take them on a walk, unless its in the woods, or something like that, then I dont worry about it.

Usually they just crap in my own yard though (invisible fence).

The people that I used to have living across the street from me had a mutt that would dump in my front yard daily. I asked them several times to keep their dog out of my yard to no avail. They'd let the dayum thing roam the neighborhood for hours, then stand out front their house calling it for 30-45 minutes before giving up!

I'd mow my lawn every week, and that's when I'd clean up after their dog, prior to mowing. I'd go pile to pile, heaving it across the street using my trusty shovel. It would go everywhere...their driveway, walkway, lawn...I'd do it when they were outside or not. They never questioned it. Though, they did shoot out the light at the end of my driveway a few times with a bb gun. :ohwell: I still had the pleasure of witnessing them stepping in their own dogs poo. Their dog eventually got the hint from smelling his own poo that that is where he should be going, and started setting his mines in their driveway and front yard.

They moved to the trailer park just when it started to get entertaining. I can't say I miss them though.
