Race power policy?!?!?!

That sounds almost supremist like. Almost.

The Institute on Race, Power and Political Economy advances research to understand structural inequalities and works to identify groundbreaking ways to promote equity. Social stratification and related belief systems — starting with race, racism, and racial resentment — prevent humane, just, moral decision making.
Wanna bet adopting a culture that values education would go a long way in achieving this groups' goals.

What you have there is a pack of racists with an inferiority complex investigating race.

The schools here in St. Mary's County were integrated in 1965, and those schools have been striving for equity in education since then and haven't gotten anywhere except to lower the standards of whites.

Ashamed to say this, but I think that is universal across the US

But wait! There's more!

It's amazing what people will say and do in public for attention.

Funny these guys don't have problems with "socialism" or "handouts" when it's to their advantage.

Yes, I'm sure you and your cult would like it very much if you could just confiscate all our money and dole it out to yourselves, but too bad sucks to be you.

Apparently, https://www.AOCschoolofeconomics.wtf* has surpassed such prestigious institutions such as the Wharton School of Economics at UPenn, and the London School of Economics, MIT, Harvard, Erasmus (Netherlands), and many others. Who knew?

*note to the board trolls (*coughspermhaulercough*): not a real hyperlink, nor a real school. Boston should give her deposit back and disclaim any knowledge of the little bartender who made bank. Good; the little bartender who made good.

PPP loans are very different from student loan forgiveness. They were a temporary solution to help workers keep their jobs during the pandemic and it was approved by Congress - and was intended to be forgiven under certain circumstances.

I'm finding it odd that so many news outlets are trying to portray Republicans as Grinches while SO VERY MANY DEMOCRATS are crying foul at the program for the same reasons the Republicans are - that it is far more expensive than suggested, it puts the cost of loans agreed to by the recipient onto the backs of people who were not able to go to college, that it is siphoning money from the poor to the rich (THAT is a contention I don't fully agree with, since so very many of the working class will not see as much increase in their federal taxes), it will worsen an economy still recovering and that it's basically unfair - and possibly illegal.

Also being echoed by economists and advisers to the Obama administration - why doesn't the press burrow through THEIR finances?

Socialism by the way, isn't government giving away money - that appears to be most of what the government already does and has for decades. Socialism is the government taking your money and taking over your business.

The rule is if you used the money to pay your employees the debt is forgiven. Now its up to you and the WH who started it to prove they didn't.
Yes. That is the rule. But that was not the rule when they agreed to take the loans and agreed to pay them back just as student borrowers did. only later were they forgiven.

My point is these people are hypocrites to condemn student loan forgiveness while pocketing PPP loan forgiveness.
