Truth is we all gotta go sometime. He's had a good ride, why someone would want to work at that age is beyond me especially if wealthy. He should have bagged it 20 years ago and enjoyed life.
Power is a drug stronger and more addictive than meth or heroin.Truth is we all gotta go sometime. He's had a good ride, why someone would want to work at that age is beyond me especially if wealthy. He should have bagged it 20 years ago and enjoyed life.
I'm sure it's hard for anyone who's had a seizure to believe or admit they have seizures let alone stop driving. If you think about it, it's something you've done the majority of your life and to give up that freedom...gotta be hard. But...having said that...I worked with someone who developed seizures in her forties. She was still on the road, claiming that she just knew when she was going to have one and would pull over and everyone out there would be safe. Medications are not always the fix. My son is on 36 pills a day, he still has seizures from time to time.As I said earlier, my mom got these - she'd be talking - suddenly freeze - her facial muscles would droop - and a few seconds later, she'd pick up right where she finished mid sentence, except she would have dropped her fork or cup and ask how that happened.
She had NO IDEA it had happened. For a long time, she just didn't believe it. But it happened some years ago while she was driving with my Dad, and it caused the auto crash that eventually took his life and seriously crippled her.
I DO think he should resign, he's clearly not well. I don't know what the laws are in Kentucky, but it may be that the Democrat governor can appoint a Democratic senator (some states require an elecion, others actually require a member of the party of the person who resigned). Years after the accident, my mother believed she was cured and would drive by herself, unaware she posed a danger to herself and others.
No sh*t!Truth is we all gotta go sometime. He's had a good ride, why someone would want to work at that age is beyond me especially if wealthy. He should have bagged it 20 years ago and enjoyed life.
I wouldn't wish a stroke on anyone, shows what kind of turd you are.I’ve been wishing for years for him to stroke out on camera.
Better luck next time, Mitch!
You are a good personI just this second saw the clip. It was frightening - not because he's a politician and responsible for things, but because he's a human being and I was seeing it happen in real time. My son has seizures and sometimes they're exactly like what I saw this morning; the immediate stop in the middle of a sentence and the eyes that looked frozen. I really hope he's okay.
Idiot Extraordinaire.And he's a HARVARD man.
Good for you. I don’t come here to virtue signal.I wouldn't wish a stroke on anyone, shows what kind of turd you are.
