Oh my momma would find you, and if those stalls weren't done boy you would "get it". That is why I don't like cleaning stalls to this day. I would rather pay someone else.My mom when she was mad would hit you with what ever was close by....horse whips, boards, anything...heck she would even hit whoever was close by....once she even hit the neighbor kid.
I love my momma, but boy I didn't like making her mad.

It is a strange parental bond though. I can remember thinking when I was 17 and my mom was screaming at me to "COME HERE!" heck no lady you are going to kill me, but my body was being pulled by some strange force of nature toward her. Luckily, my brain was smart enough to say, run stupid! She has a lunge whip!. I think I left for a little while until she calmed down.
It seems funny now. That may be why my feelings don't get hurt too easily. She thickened up my skin.

Was that the movie with Melissa Gilbert in it? If not maybe it was another movie I was thinking about that they used a big grey horse in the movie that was from Clay Hill. Just some mindless info. that sticks in my brain.

(and son A&B's) how she brought her grades up out of the gutter ... I believe Amira (her horse) made the difference . Thank you Amira from GM

Ha, same here. My brother got congratualted for those grades and I got, "why aren't they "A"s". My answer was, "' cause that class is boring" or "the teacher sucks"...yadda yadda.

I was watching Ratatoullie this morning...It's pretty good. Also saw Transformers and Spider Man3 Good movies!!!
Went to see "The Bee Movie" on opening weekend and it was really funny.
Not like some of the other movies the kids want to see. My little one actually sat through the entire movie for the first time.

Hey with the grades I brought home and still lived . I am very proud of her she must take after my husband because I was BAD in school . All my principals and housmasters new me by sight and first name..
