My ex is picking up my statements. He doesn't think I'll have to file since I had a net loss of $1.and some odd cents. He's still picking up my paperwork to make sure.
This belongs in another thread, but a good friend of mine didn't get furloughed on Friday. My friend was fired.
I'm going to buy a lot of ramen and mac and cheese.

Steamed cabbage infused with garlic and some Cherry-stone clams ..... at least I'll be eating a few Cherry-stones, wife doesn't care for them .......

Went to Nicollettis for mozzarella sticks and a small pizza.
I was sorely disappointed in the sticks. They used to have, I thought anyway, the best sticks around. They changed the vendor. These things were awful. Texture was wrong, flavor was wrong, they were smaller.... It was like biting into hot cream cheese instead of stringy mozzarella.

I used to love KFC and Popeye's and McD's french fries and hash browns.
Nicolletti's probably changed due to a profit margin.
The others due to government.
I WANT MY FAST FOOD BACK, DAMMIT!

When McD's changed the oil they fry their fries in... it really changed the taste to something like cardboard. In fact, I once ate the salt packet I used to salt my fries and barely noticed a difference in texture. Now I think fries at fast food places are icky.
That is how I felt once mine were done. Such a relief to put it behind you another year.
The last 2 years I've filed near the deadline, because I had two different family members with serious health issues. I am not a procrastinator normally, but just never had the time to focus on doing my taxes with all the other things I had going on until I was forced to.
