Thinking of grilling up some steaks, anyone know of any quick marinades or rubs that are tasty? (by quick I mean an hour or under)

THANK YOU:buddies:

That's close to the black diamond marinade I was reading on recipezaar but it called for 8-10 hour fridge time to marinate?

My hubby uses Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, a little soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper :yum:

THANKS GUYS !! I'm going to try this...next up, I'm thinking of grilling some potato wedges with the steaks...looking for a spicy grilled potato wedge recipe now !! There are a bunch online but they all call for blanching the potato first, which, I want to avoid because I was trying NOT to use the stove tonight?

Microwave them so they are partially cooked, not yet mushy.

Diced up some taters, add some chopped up garlic and crushed red pepper flakes. Toss with some olive oil. Make an aluminum foil pouch. Put the taters in the pouch and throw on the grill of 15-20 minutes.

Dry Ranch Dressing Mix, with some Creole Seasoning. Place in bag, and shake Potatoes.

You know, I did that the other night, and the potatoes stuck to the tin foil :frown:

What did I do wrong?

maybe not enough oil. I flipped mine over several times when I do them. But when they do stick and get golden brown and crispy, that's good too :lmao: But plucking them off the foil is kinda PIA

Turn the packet periodically so the oil gets distributed evenly. :yay:

 As it turns out, the real answer here will be don't trust dad to watch them. I let him at the grill and he said "Well I shook the foil a little"

I honestly didn't think about turning it over. I will have to make a better bag. I just laid foil over top
