But you won't be replacing the Bosch in 5 years, or 10 years..

You're daggone right I won't! :nono: Cuz I'm not spending $1000 on a dishwasher that gets run at best twice a week for 3 people. :bubble:

Has anyone installed one themselves who can tell me what measurements I should consider? They all seem to be standard sizes, but I see a few that are more tall than wide, it seems.

I'm pretty sure it's a matter of sliding the old out, disconnecting the hoses, connecting the hoses to the new machine, and sliding it in. If there's more to it than that, someone please speak up.

I ain't "cheapin' out" ... there are two of us here full time, and one here 3/4 time. I run my dishwasher at best twice a week (we eat out a lot or do take-out) ... I don't have a need for the Binford 6000 dishwasher.

Now quit being snotty or I'll tell Larry you're being rude! :neener:

I just bought an LG Electronics Dishwasher about 3 weeks ago. So far we are very happy with it and it is very quiet. :yay:

Did it cost you your first born or an appendage?

BUT what you haven't considered is that the FP is a double drawer dishwasher, so you don't have to wait to get enough dishes to fill a whole load - you can do a half load and save energy. And that will make you a hero of the granola crowd. You could get a Nobel Prize.

Like I give a damn what the birkenstock crowd thinks! :roflmao: I might go with a non-energy saver model just to spite those bastages!

I have 20-some each of dinner dishes, glasses, coffee mugs and silverware settings ... I think I can wait the extra day or two before running a full load vs. running a half load. :yay:
