First part of the trip report:

We arrived Wednesday. Our room was on the ninth floor, facing the Magic Kingdom, maybe 500 yards from Space Mountain.

We were in the park by 1:00. The first thing was Philharmagic. My 6 YO daughter was terrified and cried through the whole thing. I was pissed because she was being such a DQ. My 4 YO son loved it.

After that, we rode Small World, Alladin, and the Jungle Cruise. Then we went to the Cinderella dinner at the Grand Floridian. Daughter loved it. Food was good, but not great.

We went back to the park, hit Toontown for a while, then got on Dumbo to watch the fireworks. We were right under the fireworks, so it was really cool.

Pedometer registered 5 miles.

MMDad, your kids might like the SpectroMagic parade in the evening.

Did you take them to the Toontown tent to meet the characters? The Princess line was three times as long as the lines for the Pooh characters and the classic Disney characters.

We got home Sunday, but didn't see the parade. People were staking out viewing spots two hours before the parade. It was insane. This isn't the Rose parade, it's a freaking parade that happens about two hundred times per year!

The kids got autographs from 18 different characters, includint the ones in toon town. The whole trip was centered on doing everything for them, so there was lots of wating in lines to meet characters.

Of course. We rode everything we wanted to, and the weather cooperated.

Our room gave us a birds-eye view of Magic Kingdom, and the fireworks were incredible.
