Do we deserve our military?

I've seen some stupid crap spewed from both sides. Also I've seen great ideas put forth by both sides.

It's not like either side is 100% right or wrong about anything.

This is very true....

I'll bet Fox News still has more war coverage than any other network though.....
Actually, no.

msnbc (left lowercase because that's the spelling now) had 4 times as much coverage of Iraq as FOX and CNN combined in the first quarter of 2007. FOX News had the most coverage of Anna Nicole.

Whenever I watch msnbc lately, the story usually is either the Elections or Iraq. They've spent very little time today on the meaningless crime stories. Actually, msnbc has done a very good job lately.

FOX News rarely mentions Iraq. Their breaking news coverage has always been a turn-off to me. CNN and msnbc are usually the best with breaking events.

The difference is that Republicans aren't blatantly unAmerican and anti-military, and ridiculously disrespectful of our President like a pack of little kids.

they just throw tantrums about other things.

well, some do anyway.

Both sides can be whiny sissys. Both can also be intelligent and logical about almost any subject.

It's just that loud and obnoxious also seems to equal 'heard' in todays society.

I'd love to find a candidate with a democrats sense of foreign policy, environmental, and conservation ideals as well as a republicans ideas on gun control and foreign economy (or there abouts).

edit: to name a few .... I'm aware there are more issues.

I'd like to see a candidate who's actually in the middle, where good sense reigns.

Somebody's spewing rightie rhetoric, again.

Please show me, sweetheart, an instance of a Republican being unAmerican, anti-military OR blatantly disrespectful of our President.

For every one you come up with, I will match you TEN from a Democrat.

I notice you didn't refute my claim. And I assume that is because you can't.

Try as you might to laugh it off, FOX DOES show both sides of a discussion.

Never see that on Teds Commie News Network or MSD/NBC.
You're right. FOX shows both sides of the missing girl cases.

It's largely in part because FOX has fewer mentions and less coverage of the big stories (like Iraq).

When it comes to POLITICS, FOX is fair only in comparrison to the other stations (CNN, msnbc). CNN's left wing bias is evident in their live programming, and msnbc has gone far far left, just watch an hour of Countdown.

so what?

what is unamerican?

criticising an administration for perceived or real shortcomings?

OH NO!

not something that many people do no matter what the administration does or what animal they have as a mascot?

ANYTHING BUT THAT!

I'm Republican and I despise George Bush.

Granted, he's never done anything to me, but I don't agree with him on a great many things.

I've seen plenty of Republicans break ranks from Bush on Iraq, but they don't spew venomous hatred like the Democrats do.

Vrai's right, the Democrats are downright hateful. They HATE Republicans and anything that Republicans represent (the south, NASCAR, Christianity, Christmas, etc, etc.).

That can't be done. I'm sure Kerad's tearing up the Google as we speak.
