Does Taylor Gas Co. Have Any Competition?

I'm asking because I just paid 300-some odd dollars for propane. I was running behind a bit with them; I know, shame on me; so when that happens, naturally they won't deliver again until the balance is paid.

Does anybody know of any other propane suppliers that are cheaper than Taylor Gas; if that's possible; or are all the propan suppliers' prices about the same because of market prices? Oh yeah, do they deliver to Piney Point?

I don't think another gas company will put gas in a Taylor tank. Just pay the bill.

Taylor Gas

Have been dealing with Taylor for over 20 years now. They are the best and are customer friendly. There rates are normally the same or a little lower then the rest. If you switch to another company you have to pay to get the new tank installed and get it filled up. That cost alone might be over a thousand, depending on the size of the tank. It will pay you to stay with Taylor Gas.

Look in the phone book, call and ask.

:yeahthat:
You only option other than paying Taylor is to use the tanks for a propane grill.
If you hook it up wrong, you'll blow up your house.
Good luck :yay:

I used to use refillable 5 gallon grill tanks. It's impossible to hook them up wrong. They all use the same left-handed industry standard thread.

I was thinking of switching companies, because Taylor just started charging rent on their tanks. I think Suburban always has. I do own a 20 gallon tank outright and am going to check the cost of a refill at a the store vs. tank rent/delivery.

The 20 gallon tanks have always had the emergency relief valve required on ALL LP tanks now, FYI.

I know another company won't put gas in a Taylor tank.

I was just asking if anyone knew of another supplier. If I signed up with someone else, I would Inform Taylor Gas and they could come get their tanks, etc., etc..

Taking propane gas from a business without paying for it ain't too cool, either.

I'm just saying.

WHAT??

I didn't take anything. I just got behind a tad with them and they have a "no delivery with an outstanding balance" policy.
I know that. I knew that.

Like I said, I just got behind with them.

Oh. Well, that doesn't make much sense because most every company requires a deposit for the tank, and payment for the fuel when they fill it.
