Dog House needed

Many are trained to BE sled dogs, are fed a special diet, high in fat, they have thick, heavy fur to take the cold, and they sleep in dog houses.

When on the trail, they sleep in the snow.
And they LOVE their people and are top notch athlete's and love the job they do!!

BTW, for you idgits that think dogs cant handle the weather, most dogs are soft because they are kept inside, but if you leave the same breed outside, they develop a thicker coat and can handle it just fine, thats most dogs.

I'm not sure if I'm an idgit or not. HOWEVER, some dogs cannot tolerate heat or cold and it has nothing to do with their coats. Read up on brachycephalic breeds.

And, not all dogs develop thicker coats.

True, because I dont think my doberman could have gotton any more hair than he had. He was a blue doberman (I had two) and basically the older they got the balder they got.

BUT, the fact is, that people who live in adverse conditions also adapt to those conditions.

My daughter had decided she wants a dog. If someone out there has a dog house they are not using, we would appreciate having it. We would probably need a medium to large house. Thanks for any help.

Yeah, I know. I remember someone once posted looking for a home for a puppy that they had gotten and really didn't have time for after all. These people practically chewed her up and spit her out. It was pretty bad!!!
