Dogs Lie Awake At Night Thinking About Their Problems, Too

Lawful neutral

Researchers in Hungary say dogs, like many of us, lie awake at night thinking about their problems after a stressful or emotional day.

A study published by The Royal Society scientific journal found that our furry four-legged friends also struggle to fall asleep due to their troubles, meaning that once again we have something in common with them.

The experiment recorded the brain waves of 16 dogs after experiencing either a positive or negative day. Positive days included being pet and playing fetch while the negative days included being separated from their owners or tied to a door for short periods of time.

Evidently, my dog has no problems or stress. She snores like a dumptruck and sleeps like a baby!! LOL
Apollo, too. He doesn't "think" about anything, as far as I can tell. He has "negative" moments that are quickly remedied with a snack.

Lies. We see the covers and pillows you rearrange to make a nest in the bed while we're gone.
 Daisy does that all the time, and to the couches, pillows, throws, etc. And, it is quite interesting when we change the sheets. She loves the game, just like our beloved Tommy cat that we lost several years, ago. When the sheet was put over him, he would put all four legs up like a tent. They love the change the sheets game! Pets are the best! We learn a lot from them. The first lesson learned is not to be so uptight, but just chillax. Love them!
