Old thread I know, but here is what vets are saying. Really? Guess dogs can read now. You know when people do this they are laughing, so the dog probably has no idea what's going on.

Are you kidding me? Captn. Morgan doesnt look the least bit ashamed or sheepish when she jumps in my bed, even though I've asked her over and over again to stop doing it. LOL

I'm sure we could get a gubmint grant to study the behavior of the dogs who have been shamed. If were lucky, most of them are located in Las Vegas and Hawaii.

No matter what, when I tell my dog to sit still for a picture, she always looks pathetic and thinks she's being punished. I think most of the dogs in those pictures are feeing the same way.
