OK, now you can tell me what "gap insurance" is; I've got full coverage on my truck, I but don't recall seeing anything about that listed on my plan. :confused:

I was unaware of it until after my van was totaled in 2002, well from what I know you are supposed to get it from the dealer, but some peeps on here said they got it from their insurance company. You buy a truck worth 28k, but total it a year later, the insurance only gives you what it is worth say 14k, so you still owe 14k and if you have gap it will cover the rest. Did I explain that right?
