Bush IS completely stupid by himself yet his advisers are quite smart and knowlegable. The fact that Bush decided to surround himself with the smartest is not necessarily indicative of his own intelligence. He has a simplistic tone on the stump and he offers oversimplified solutions to complex problems. (Look at the economic stimulus plan...more tax cuts and that is it). I am estatic though that at least Colin Powell is in the administration keeping President Bush from pushing the red button.

Are you thinking it doesn't take a very sharp mind, indeed, to weed through the myriad of capable people in this country, acute enough to put this talent together so they not only work well together, but actually "play off" each others' strengths, accomplish what they might not do as individuals?
Pres. Bush graduated from Yale Univ., and that is on the same par as South Hope Community College, didn't you know!
No one is calling him brilliant, (although I have heard people refer to him as being brilliant for putting his team together), least of all me; but "completely stupid" is an asinine depiction of Pres. Bush.
