Usually it's a full second because the rules give the offense the benefit of the doubt.

Imagine that. Defense gets no help whatsoever in this league. I'm very surprised they gave the defense head sets this year.

I didn't see the play but I listened on the radio. Even the Ravens announcers said they might have gotten away with one.
