Early Pregnancy

yeah yeah
So like. I would like to have people share the wealth of what they went through and other such things. Things that need to be known/done, etc. Anything you can share will be good

Be active and don't fall in the trap of thinking "you are eating for two"... take your daily vitamins and get regular rest were good words of advice as well.

OK. What about symptoms. How early did they start? What about MS? (I know some people dont get MS but some do) Cures for it? Is small cramping common? Etc, etc

If you smoke~~STOP now. Keep doing what you do now. Just don't sit on your butt all the time stuffing your face. The more weight you gain with the pregnancy the harder it will be to get off afterwards, if you go over the recommended 25-35 poundsm, so don't go on a food rampage!

Take your vitamins, get plenty of rest, increase your water intake, stay active and eat regular healthy meals.

OK. Got the PNVits down. Been downing those for over a year and 1/2. Should I up my folic acid? Heard any effects (good or bad) from green tea? Just found out about the water intake.

With early pregnancy, do you get full faster? Last night I could only take like 4 bites of mashed potatoes and I was done. .

kokopicu- dont smoke. So I am good. And I am planning on walking every evening

Eat "right" regardless of what you did before. Lots of Calcium, folic acid, take your vitamins, whole grains etc. Don't start an formal excercise routine, but if you are already doing one, it's safe to continue. But like Kwillia said, be active, take walks, but don't overdo.

Avoid asprin, it can cause some complications, tylenol is generally safe.

There are mixed reviews on caffiene, but it wouldn't hurt to cut back if you consume a lot.

Some people will tell you not to color or perm your hair, but there's no evidence that it will affect the child. But your hair grows faster when you are pregnant, so perms and color don't last as long.

AC/DC

Lord, I apologize.

Good. Glad to know. Folic acid should be upped. Good to know that. Just walking is all I was talking about. Heard about the caffiene. Cut all that out about 9 mths ago, and just STARTED drinking it like 2 weeks ago (not alot, like a soda a week), and bam! LOL That is how it works thought huh? LOL

And the hair I have heard about too. Dont plan on perming or coloring anytime soon. Thanks for all of it though! :flowers:

:nono: I didn't say that. If you are already on a prescription PNV, stick to that. If you aren't on prescription, call your doctor, they will prescribe one immediately without seeing you. Too much of a good thing makes it not a good thing anymore. Don't go overboard.

They don't do Rx prenatal vitamins anymore.

And, AC/DC, she didn't deny being pregnant, she just told FCL that it wasn't her announcement!

:huggy:
