Plastic eggs. TONS of them. Hidden everywhere. Some filled with candy, others with money. The lucky kids got $1.

My family still carries on that tradition, with the same eggs. It's much more fun being an adult, drinking, hiding the eggs, then watching the rugrats try and find them on the roof.

It certainly wasn't going out and buying up everything in the store I could find, setting it all up in a pretty little display, and then posting a picture of it on FB and saying "Look what I got for my kids!"

The people who do that are just plain morons!

We did the usual. Dyed eggs, went to church, nice dinner...

OH go away, no one needs your negativity in here... If I want to spend my money on my kid I will and I'll spend as much as I want, your opinion means NOTHING !!!

Seriously, for crying out loud! Some people are just killjoys all the time. :boo:

:yeahthat: Not your money being spent, not your problem.

I usually go a bit bigger on Easter because my son's bday is in Dec so what I can buy for him is limited due to Christmas so I probably get more for him for Easter. And since nobody else pays my bills it's nobody elses problem.

OMG :lmao:

You should call Michelle Obama and have Easter baskets abolished. Or make parents fill them with healthy snacks instead. Quinoa bars and carrot sticks.

Seriously, for crying out loud! Some people are just killjoys all the time. :boo:

Maybe I'm reading it wrong but I took his post that he's not a fan of people bragging on FB about what they got their kids for easter. Not saying he had anything against easter egg hunts

I could be wrong...its happened a time or two.

I bought Poppers and Sparklers for my kid's Easter basket and they wanted my ID for them. I told them it's for my 8 year old's Easter basket.

And before people get all bent out of shape, no he won't be playing with lighters or anything to light the sparkler.
