I remember a time when sellers would leave positive feedback as soon as they got your money. Now, everything I buy comes with a note attached saying basically, "Once you leave positive feedback for us, we will do the same for you." I think that's a bunch of crap! I paid you immediately and I should be given positive feedback for that. If you send me a good product, in a timely manner, I shall then leave you positive feedback. You don't wait to get good feedback from me and then reward me for doing so!

I've never had anyone say that! Holy cow- that takes some cajones.
They are trying to sell you a product- that's just bad customer service.

Fer real? I get it all the time. I have even emailed the seller once I get the goods and said "I've received it...thanks...I'll leave you positive feedback once you leave it for me." And you know what happens? NOTHING. They just don't leave feedback.

Ebay is riddled with scams. I rarely use it but the last 2 times were not that great. I bought some software and it was then Boy's remote was going bad so I looked it up and it was $35, just for goofs I typed it into ebay and found one for $5 but it had $8 S&H. Oh well $13 is better than $30 so I figured I would take a chance. The thing came in and was a POS, none of the buttons worked exept vol up and CH down. Sent the dude an email and he said to toss it he would refund. Took 2 weeks and he never left feedback. Then I saw another item that required a "pre-approval" so I sent an email. Of course the email I get back says the item is in Greece and not GA like the add said and to email them for instructions. I have a feeling I am going to get appyscam emails out the butt now.

I've had a few problems, but not many, and they've always been resolved. I have no problem with any part of it except for this feedback thing.

I get the same messages when I purchase something off the site also K Jo. Seems to be the trend of the sellers now. I know when I have sold items that I leave feedback as soon as I get the money or the check clears; they held up their end of the bargain and that is the reason for feedback. I agree totally.

As a selling I leave pos feedback after quick payment...as a buyer I want the same..It is a shame if you pay fast and leave a neut or neg due to a bad seller and you get neg as retaliation. I find alot of people do not leave feedbacks at all..I bet my 5000 feedbacks could easily be 2 or so times that. Some do not do justice by the system that is for sure.

Yet you feel it's alright to abuse the karma system... I see how you are.

My feedback would be much higher as well, but I refuse to play their reindeer games. And, because I am not a seller, I really don't give a rip what my feedback count is as long as it's positive. Maybe I should do all my buying from you!

"I have paid you quickly and expect a + feedback. I DO NOT leave feedback untill I get mine.

If they don't give me feedback I wait 89 days and leave them a neg. feedback and then they can't leave me a neg. after 90 days.

I state right in my ad, that I don't withhold feedback. When a seller says they will leave positive after I do, they never get any. I kind of like POOH's idea and may start doing that.

I have had seller that pull that stuff. I just sold a couple of items and I left positive right after they paid. I had a problem with one guy who waited like 2 months to send me something and kept trying to run me around. I finally told him I would give him 2 weeks to get me my item (he lived in Canada) or I was going to report him. A week later it arrived. It was only a $6 item but it was the principal that I paid for it and I should get something.
As anyone had to go through ebay or Paypal to get their money back? I had to track down a seller with the cops to resolve another issue.

It is. If I pay on time or use buy it now and I don't a + feedback then my "overall experience" was a neg. one. I now have one less + feedback so I give then a Neg. and take away one of there feedbacks.
