Gee, I don't remember George Bush signing any loan papers for me. He has never been in my house, ridden in my car, or watched my big screen TV.

So your point is careless spending by consumers is the government's fault?...lmao

see, now you get it, that's why we need the democrats to save us..

they'll take all of our money and spend it for us.. you won't be able to get upside down in your debt/ savings, because not only will you not have any money to save, but you won't have any left to get a loan to get that new car, or the new big screen TV... now the welfare recipient down the street, bet your azz, he'll have a new car, and a new big screen.. I mean it's only fair, why should the lazy piece of #### have his self esteem hurt being the only one that doesn't have one?

He's from the all-evil, starved-the-children, make-the elderly-eat-dog-food, miserable USA. He is miserable too. He wont be happy until we are all forced to give all our earned income to the fed so he can collect it up without having to lift a finger. The fed just hasn't solved all our problems yet. But it's coming.

John Edwards on the Today show today.. touting his Universal Health Care for EVERYONE!! $$$$$$$$ Never did he mention how he planned on paying for it. Oh I know, TAX the RICH.. (meaning anyone that makes over 50K a year!!

What part of Capitalism and Democracy do they not understand.. they so want us be socialist. AND the reporter just sits there lobbing him softballs.. make it easy on him, make it sound like a GREAT plan, but not once was he asked.. "How will this effect my tax bill??" "How are you planning on paying for it!??"

THEN he starts with the immediatte withdrawal of 40,000 troops from Iraq.. no plan, no pupose, never asked why.. This is the answer, never explained the problem, or what would be gained by pulling out all of these troops, and leaving Iraq to Syria and Iran..

The $1.5 TRILLION that Bush has wasted in Iraq would've been well spent on American healthcare instead.

Small question: Would spending more on healthcare without consumer choice make it more or less expensive?

Hey you know it - when Democrats spend money, it's always money well spent.

For Canadian citizens living in Canada, there's currently an 18 week wait to see a medical specialist.

Remember the old $120 hammer or $300 toilet seat?

That figure is actually very misleading..

If they weren't in Iraq (excluding the Guard and the Reserves) they would be somewhere, still getting paid, still burning up fuel, still eating.. The only additional expense would be the ammo they are consuming, and of course the money we are helping to support the new government with.

That and it's not he govenments JOB to supply my healthcare needs.. it's mine. You want to see a screwed up medical system with our research and better ways to fight disease come to a screeching halt, let the government run it... Personally I'm hoping for cures to some seriuos diseases in the future, and you can bet if the gov't is running the show, they'll find the cures, just 75 - 100 years later..

The only thing I wonder abotu is if Canada's health care system is governemt run, why is there such a big fuss about us being able to buy their drugs since they are cheaper? I would figure if it is run by the government they would cost more then ours. Not a dig at anybody, just an honest question.

Bigger question: Is spending money on Americans instead of wasting it half a world away trying to advance your own twisted political agenda money well spent?

I'm sensing bias in this question.
